Season Two: Post Fourteen.
When a tour ends there’s a mixture of feelings that I typically go through. Part of me feels accomplished, relieved that any anxieties I had prior to leaving were nothing but measly worries and that I’ve had an incredible time making memories that will last my entire life. Part of me feels a sense of excitement to get back to the little bubble of existence I have back home, back to a routine that I crave in the unstructured times. This tour has been an important one, sharing memories with not only my fellow band mates but also the lads in Riskee.
Last night’s show was the best US show we’ve ever played. Riskee also had an absolutely triumph of a performance and response. After coming off stage last night, I felt an enormous sense of accomplishment. I can’t thank anyone who contributed to making it happen enough, I will without a doubt remember it forever.
I’m currently sat in Philadelphia airport, awaiting our connecting flight back to Heathrow having departed Orlando earlier this afternoon. I’m tired and not in a very good way for writing words so I shall keep this post short. Expect a full comprehensive review of the tour as a whole in the coming days but know that we had a very memorable and fantastic time.
Also, a cheeky pre-flight 8 miler happened this morning. Just thought I’d fill you in…
Thank you again, USA. Until next time.
See you tomorrow England.
