Yes that’s right, we have a launch date. Also, I recorded episode one today and I think I’d regard it as a success. I’ve uploaded it to Anchor (the podcast app) and scheduled it for the 3rd March at 12pm. So make sure you’re there, make sure you check it out and I hope you enjoy it.
For episode one I introduced myself and told my story of “almost” success story. Primarily I focused on my music journey, from what my dreams/expectations were to what the realities have ended up being so far. I’ve been quite honest as to why I don’t think I’m not an arena selling artist and I actually found it really therapeutic to admit some of the material I did. Anyway, I won’t go into much more as you’ll have to check it out for yourself.
I’ve made a comprehensive list of people I would like to interview for the podcast and will be asking around over the next few weeks. Most are people I know but I am going to try and see if I can reach out to a few people that I don’t know personally. An exciting prospect and I’m intrigued to see what I can make of this. I do genuinely think that podcasting is going to kick off very soon, taking over the vlogging and blogging platforms that have been the popular internet sensations in the last few years.
So what else can I update you on? Well my hip isn’t feeling too bad, early days but its a good sign that its not red raw and feeling awful. I’m actually quite excited for a week of cross training, its healthy on a mental level as well as physical to keep things fresh and change it up. My bike might get its 2019 debut this week which is cool. I’ve delved into the world of triathlon on several occasions and although the bike it by far the discipline I find the hardest, thats mostly why I like it. It’s easy to do things that you find easy but rewarding on a different level to do things you find difficult.
I’m going to keep today’s post relatively short and finish it here. Just know that the podcast is on its way – 3rd March 2019. Remember the date.
Today’s athletic update: Cross training day one, 4000m in the pool this morning. The lane was quiet and I got a good quality work out in. I do really enjoy swimming, I love the mind-body connection and the rhythmic flow of the limbs. Its an amazing sensation when your body parts “flow”, I can only imagine how it must feel in a discipline like dance or gymnastics.
